Storrington Forest of Reading Program

We are excited to share that the Forest of Reading program has begun at Storrington! Our Stingers will be exploring, reading and engaging in discussions and activities by enjoying the books from the Blue Spruce, Silver Birch, Silver Birch Express and Yellow Cedar nominated award lists for 2021/22. The Forest of Reading program provides our students with captivating and current Canadian content in a variety of books that are written by Canadian authors. The goal of the program is to EMPOWER and FOSTER the love of reading for all student interests and reading levels. We are looking forward to building the LOVE of READING at Storrington and in our classrooms, as our STINGERS prepare to vote for their favorite book in April! Stayed tuned for more important updates to come.
