Family Update December 8-12, 2025
Happy Monday, Stinger Families!
Here is the update on the Great CAN-tastic Classroom Challenge! Storrington students and their families donated 349 items to the Battersea Food Bank! The class who brought in the most items was the Ms. Roberts’ 4/5 class! An honourable mention goes to Ms. Brugma’s grade 1 class! Amazing job, Stingers!
We had a great Spirit week despite the snow challenges! We look forward to another fun week leading up to the Winter Break. This week, we are hosting our Winter Holiday Concert and the Grade 8 fundraiser will take place! Please see the poster below for details.
Don’t forget to pick up your meat sticks and Wilton cheese before the concert on Tuesday between 4:30-5:30 pm. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please email pc.storrington@gmail.com.
December 16 – Holiday Concert
Our Winter Wonderland Holiday concert will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 5:30-6:30 pm. All classes will be participating in the event! Meat Sticks and Wilton Cheese orders will be available for pick-up between 4:30 -5:30 pm.
During the concert, students will be in their classrooms until they perform. They will go back to their classrooms until the end of the show. Families can pick them up there.
After the show, we invite families to tour around the school to view all the student artwork on display at our very own Holiday Art Gallery. We will also have student art displayed in our school windows. Families can take an outdoor walk around the school to view the art and all the sparkling holiday lights! You may even want to bring flashlights or headlamps!
Art show submissions will be sent home with students on Friday so that they can continue to be enjoyed over the Winter Break!
It’s going to be a beautiful evening! We hope to see you there!
We will be having a school-wide assembly and dress rehearsal during the school day on Tuesday, December 16. This assembly and dress rehearsal will begin at 11:45 am.
Storrington Night at the Kingston Frontenac’s Game
Please mark your calendars for March 6, game time is 7:05 pm. Details about tickets will be shared in January. It’s going to be a fun evening! Let’s fill the stands!
