Dear Storrington Families,
Please welcome back Mr. Chad Taylor, who will once again be the Replacement Principal at Storrington Public School while Mrs. Wellwood continues to recover. Ms. Joanne Borges, a recently retired Principal, will be at the school later in the week to replace Mr. Taylor.
This past Friday was the last day for Cayla Gordon, Storrington’s amazing Office Administrator, as she moves to her new position. We are pleased to welcome Tina Goslin as our new Office Administrator. Her first day will be Monday, April 13. In the meantime, we welcome back Joan MacGregor, who many of you already know, as the Office Administrator until April 10.

Spring Talent Show
Many students signed up for the Talent Show and auditions at recess will begin soon. Keep practicing your performances, Stingers! Further information for families will be coming soon!
Road Race Club
Interested students in Grades 3-8 have already signed up for Road Race practices at recess. They will have two races, the Bayridge Road Race on April 28 and the LCVI Road Race on May 6th. More information will be going home with these students with details about practices and races.
School Year Calendar for 2026-27:
The new 2026-27 school year calendar has been approved. The first day of classes for students will be September 2, 2026. There is a PA Day for all staff on September 1, 2026. You can find more information about next year’s calendar here on the LDSB website.
Kindergarten Registration – 2026-2027
It’s that time of year! Families who have a child born in 2022 can register their child for year 1 (JK) of LDSB’s Full Day Kindergarten Program. A child born in 2021 would register for year 2 (SK) of the program. Please share this information widely: https://www.limestone.on.ca/kindergarten
