May 11-15 Stinger Family Update

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

The Ministry of Education visited Storrington on Friday. They toured many of our classrooms while math was being taught. The Ministry representative was impressed with our use of Ministry-approved, resources, small group instruction, as well as student engagement and achievement! Well done, Stingers!

We also had successful Basketball tournaments and a Road Race last week. All student athletes represented Storrington very well,School-Wide and we are proud of their accomplishments. Thank you to families for their support and to our coaches!

Next week, families are invited to a dinner event at The Creekside Bar and Grill for a Wings and Poutine Buffet!

Cost – Minimum $20

Time – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Date – Tuesday, May 19, 2026

This is a fundraiser event for the Grade 7/8 Trip to Toronto later this month! Please spread the word! Our own Mr. Freeland as well as our grade 7 and 8 students (and some grade 6s) will be helping at the event. Thank you in advance for your support! Thank you to Kyle Gordon for his support as well!
