Happy Monday, Stingers Families!
Thank you to the families who attended our Remembrance Day assembly last week. The bus cancellations that day were a barrier, but we were still able to come together as a community for this important ceremony. Thank you to the classes who shared during the assembly and to Mme Dannenberg for organizing our beautiful event.
Pick Up for Fruit and Veggies
If you ordered apples or a vegetable bag throughoccur our Farm Fresh Fundraiser, the orders will be available for pick up on Thursday at the school (November 20th ) between 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week
Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week is November 17 to 21, 2025. Bullying prevention and awareness efforts need to occuron daily, but this designated week allows us to focus attention to this issue. We will have daily announcements to help start classroom discussions. This week will end with, Limestone’s Pink Shirt Day. Students, staff, and families are encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness and take a stand against bullying and promote kindness and inclusion.
Free Webinar – EQAO Math Night for Families (Grades 3,6, and 9)
When: November 19, 2025 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Details: Join EQAO for a free live webinar where EQAO staff will discuss math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in Ontario’s large-scale assessments. These assessments are taken by all Ontario students in Grades 3, 6, and 9. During the webinar, EQAO staff will show how these math questions help assess the skills students are learning in their math classes. Staff will also share valuable insights from the past three years of assessment results, which can help parents and guardians support their children’s math learning.

Fundraising
Storrington's School Council has organized 2 fundraisers that might help you prepare for the upcoming holiday season! We are selling Halenda’s Meat Sticks and Wilton Cheese!
Order forms and money are due on November 21 **This Friday. Orders will be distributed on December 16, the evening of our holiday concert.
Thank you in advance for your support as we look to fundraise for athletic equipment, technology, and the beautification of our school.

Next School Council Meeting
Our next School Council meeting is this Thursday - November 20, 6:00 pm in the library. We have not been able to secure childcare. There is a virtual link provided below in case you need or want to attend the meeting from the comfort of your own home. We will be discussing our winter fundraisers and our holiday event. I will also be sharing about the student census (grades 4-8) and some school-wide data.

Our Winter Wonderland Holiday concert will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 5:30-6:30 pm. More specific details will be shared after we get closer to the event.
