May 11-15 Stinger Family Update

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We were blessed with great weather!

Friday, we hosted a very successful Track and Field Day for students in Grades 3-8. Students achieved some personal bests and cheered on their peers! Thank you to Storrington staff for leading the events! We even had students help us with timing! We will have about 45 students attend the regional track meet at the Invista Track on Monday, June 1st. More details will be shared soon!

Tonight, families are invited to a dinner event at The Creekside Grill for a Wings and Poutine Buffet!

Cost – Minimum $20

Time – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

This is a fundraiser event for the Grade 7/8 Trip to Toronto later this month! Please spread the word! Our own Mr. Freeland, as well as our grade 7 and 8 students (and some grade 6s), will be helping at the event. Thank you in advance for your support! Thank you to Kyle Gordon for his support as well!

School Council Meeting

There will be a School Council meeting on Thursday, May 21, starting at 6:00 pm.

We will be meeting in the library. I hope to see you there!

*We are trying to secure someone to watch any children who attend with their family. If we can’t secure a sitter, children/students will need to stay in the library with their parent/guardian. I will send an update later this week to let families know either way.

 Storrington’s Fun Fair – Sunday, June 7! 10 am – 2 pm

It will be Fun Fair day before we know it! A paper letter is coming home with students today about the silent auction baskets. SAC thanks you for your support of this awesome event!
