Dear Storrington Families,
I hope your family had a wonderful summer filled with meaningful moments, great adventures, and quality time spent with family and friends.
For me, this past year was especially memorable. I had the incredible opportunity to take a year-long leave and travel with my family—a truly wonderful experience that created lifelong memories and reminded me of the value of curiosity, connection, and learning beyond the classroom. These are adventures and lessons we will cherish for years to come!
I am thrilled to be back as your Storrington Principal and can’t wait to reconnect with our students, staff, and families. September brings a fresh sense of excitement and possibility, with new opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and succeed. One of our greatest strengths is the strong partnership we share with our families and community. Together, we create a caring, positive environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to be their best. I’m looking forward to building on our school pride, connections, and community spirit throughout the year!
To our returning families, welcome back! To those joining us for the first time, we extend a very warm welcome! We are excited to have you as part of our school family.
As we get ready for September, here is some important information to support a smooth transition to our new school year:
- Storrington’s main office will re-open on Tuesday August 25th!
- We welcome Ms. Brittany Brown to our staff who joins us as our new Office Administrator. Ms. Brown looks forward to getting to know all of our wonderful school families and community!
- Classroom placements will be shared with families on Tuesday Sept 1 as you will receive communication from your child’s new classroom on this PA Day.
- Our first school day for students is on September 2, 2026. Staff will be on hand during our morning arrival to direct students to the correct location on the first day of school!
- School arrival and morning supervision begins at 8:50am daily and school dismissal is at 3:35pm.
Together, I know we will make 2026–2027 a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, connection, and success! I’m excited for all that lies ahead and look forward to working together to make it a great year for every student!
