Welcome Back to New and Returning Students and Families!

We hope you had a wonderful summer! We are excited to welcome students and families to Storrington Public School (SPS) for a new year of learning! Storrington staff are busy preparing classrooms and curriculum, and we can't wait to see you on Wednesday, September 3rd!

We are at the school this week. If you have any questions, please call us at 613-353-2868 or email: storr@limestone.on.ca.

We will send an email on Friday to share who your student's teacher is. This email will ensure your student knows where to find their teacher on the morning of Wednesday, September 3rd.

*Please remember, we may have to shuffle students due to enrolment numbers. If you are discussing class placements at home, please remind your student(s) that their class may change. If we need to reorganize classes, this shift would take place on Monday, September 15th. Keep an eye on communication from the school for updates!

What To Bring on the First Day of School

*ALL items should be labelled with your student’s name

  • Backpack
  • Indoor shoes (should be supportive, athletic shoes) *Crocs are popular but not the safest choice in the gym.
  • Lunch and snacks (nut-free)
  • Water bottle
  • Extra clothes (accidents, at all ages, happen!)
  • Hat/sun protection

*Please remember we are a scent-free school.

Medical Conditions

This message is only intended for the families of students with prevalent medical conditions where documentation is needed by the school:

To help us gather important medical information about your child, we ask that you select the correct form below, complete it, and return it to the school as soon as possible.

If you require us to administer daily medication, you will also need to complete the necessary paperwork for us to be able to do this. Daily medication will need to be dropped off at the school. Students cannot carry medications in their backpack. Please call the school to make arrangements for drop off.

**Be sure to also include the supplementary forms if medication may need to be administered by school staff.

The health and safety of students is our first priority. Thank you for helping us stay informed on your child's current medical needs.
