Cross Country Update
Congratulations to Storrington Runners who went to Fort Henry last week. They braved the wind and rain and had some amazing results! Big shout-out to Sonny Roberts for his 13th place finish against 84 of the best runners across the Limestone District School Board!
Boys Intermediate Volleyball try-outs will begin on November 3rd!
Babysitter Needed
We are still seeking babysitters interested in volunteering during our monthly School Council meetings. Volunteers will supervise Storrington students or younger siblings who need care in a classroom. Interested individuals must have completed the Babysitting Course and can earn volunteer hours. Please email our School Council Chairs directly about this – pc.storrington@gmail.com
See Yourself in Limestone – Student Census Survey
Limestone is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students. To help us better understand how students’ identities and experiences relate to their achievement and well-being, we are launching our second See Yourself in Limestone Student Census Survey this fall.
The census is a voluntary and confidential survey for students in Grades 4 to 12, running from November 24 to 28, 2025. It gathers information about students’ identities and their experiences at school. This data is then paired with academic information to help us understand what school is like for different groups of students.
Important information for families:
- The survey is optional.
- Responses are confidential and students can skip any questions they do not wish to answer.
- Students will complete the survey during class time.
- Students who do not participate will be provided with an alternative activity.
Families who do not want their student(s) to complete the survey must contact their school principal by Friday, November 14, 2025. Opting out means the student will not receive the survey in their e-mail inbox.
By better understanding students’ identities and experiences, we can remove barriers and better support students in accessing what they need to succeed.

We're excited to announce the return of Kingston's 2nd Annual Treat Accessibly Halloween Village, taking place Saturday, October 25th from 1:00–4:00 PM on Purcell Crescent with the support of almost 30 homeowners. This one-of-a-kind, inclusive and fully accessible Halloween experience invites children of all abilities—and the young at heart—to enjoy barrier-free trick-or-treating in a safe and welcoming environment. In addition to accessible Trick-or-Treating, for both edible and non-edible treats, kids and families will enjoy amazing decorations, face-painting, music, costume contests and prizes, fundraising bbq, a variety of costumed entertainers, and more!
Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and inclusive Halloween experience for ALL kids — with and without disabilities — and their families. Adults with disabilities may not have had a Trick or Treating experience either and are more than welcome! Parents are encouraged to join the fun in costume too!
