Week at a Glance

Hello Storrington Stingers,

We hope that all of our Stingers had a great weekend!

Please see the information below in this week’s Week at a Glance.

Storrington Acts of Amazing

Although the month of January was another shorter month with the holiday break, it was a record month for our Storrington Stingers.  Collectively, they beat our goal of 500 marbles and displayed 668 Acts of Amazing by showing Humility, Honesty, Bravery, Respect, Love, Wisdom and Truth.  Our Stingers have earned 2183 marbles so far this year.  Great job Stingers!

January Storrington Recognition Certificate Recipients

During our February Spirit and Recognition Assembly, we took the time to celebrate our January Storrington Recognition Certificate Recipients.  These students were recognized by their classroom teacher and classmates for consistently showing Respect, Honesty, Humility, Love, Wisdom, Truth and Bravery during the month of September.  Congratulations to this month’s recipients- Hazel Smith, Charlie Ahrenkiel, Rowan Williams, Vivienne Binette, Jaxon Wheeler, Abby Azulay, Quinn Lamson, Danica Colby and Aislyn Poole.

Updates to Provincial Self-Screening Tool and Guidelines

-they do not have a fever, and

-they do not develop any additional symptoms.

-For a total of 10 days after the start any illness symptom, students and staff should continue to wear a well-fitted mask in all public settings (including schools and childcare, unless under two years old) and avoid non-essential activities where mask removal is necessary.
